Your Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of identified capital, infrastructure, or water network management projects. Your focus will be on safe delivery to budget, schedule, and quality output.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Direct and manage a diverse range of consultant expertise across a multidisciplinary set of skills.
- Oversee the management of construction project design, estimation, and project planning and delivery, including all relevant statutory processes.
- Be accountable for project control, including resourcing and service delivery requirements.
- Review contractors' costs submissions and advise on sign-off.
- Monitor and report on forecast and project out-turn cost.
- Provide day-to-day management of construction service providers for capital projects.
- Supervise project closeout activities, including commissioning and handover to operations and maintenance.
- Provide input into the development of new templates, documents, systems, and processes for project/programme management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree qualification in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering, or a related project management discipline.
- Knowledge of NEC 3 and 4 suite of contracts and CDM 2015.
- Experience working in the water sector or a regulated industry, with at least 5+ years of project management experience.
- A full UK driving license.
