Service & Maintenance Manager Opportunity

This established commercial / industrial heating and water company based in Devon is seeking a highly organized and experienced Service & Maintenance Manager to join their team. As a valued member of the family-run business, you will be responsible for managing a team of gas engineers to ensure smooth site operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of gas engineers to ensure efficient site operations and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate site meetings and surveys across Devon, south Cornwall, and occasional further up the M5
  • Help secure new contracts in the area
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to sites
  • Manage paperwork effectively, including H&S and RAMS compliance
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including the NHS, care homes, hospitals, and factories
Requirements:
  • Reside in or around the south Devon area
  • Proven experience in managing or supervising a team of engineers
  • Strong background in commercial heating and plumbing sectors
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of H&S and RAMS rules and regulations
Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary of 45-55k
  • Phone, laptop/tablet provided
  • Travel mileage paid at 45p per mile for site visits
  • 24 days holiday + 8 bank holidays + birthday off
