Key Responsibilities- Support Site Teams in identifying solutions and options to overcome issues, delivering Toolbox Talks, safety briefings, and wellbeing campaigns.
- Provide training and advice, encouraging the reporting of near misses through proactive engagement with Operatives and Supervisors.
- Review risk assessments and method statements, verifying temporary works are implemented safely.
- Conduct investigations of incidents and accidents, identifying root cause analysis and recommendations to prevent re-occurrence.
- Assist in the identification of safety training needs for site-based personnel and bring these to the attention of the Regional Health and Safety Manager.
- Cooperate with the Health and Safety Executive in connection with their site visits.
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate, and an appropriate Construction Skills Card, with Streetworks and utilities experience.
- Working knowledge of current UK Health and Safety legislation and best practice.
- Current driving license, essential for this role.
