About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the National Trust as a Philanthropy Consultant, working in the London and South East region. As a key member of the Trust's internal consultancy, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of experts, working together to help shape and achieve the Trust's ambitious vision for fundraising.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for developing complex fundraising plans, with multiple income streams, for projects with stretching targets. You will also be proficient in fundraising through individual giving, gifts in wills, and charitable trusts. Additionally, you will be adept at building a compelling case for support and able to challenge colleagues to think differently and become innovative fundraisers.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for an experienced fundraising professional who is skilled in building strong relationships within diverse teams, both internally and externally. You will be a flexible thinker and problem-solver, skilled at negotiating and building productive networks, and confident in using your expertise to influence decisions. You will also be proactive and organised, with experience of managing projects and a talent for multi-tasking and getting things done, strongly focused on detail, quality, cost, and time.
