Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Civils Operative to join our Pre-enablement team at Comex 2000 UK Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing excavations, repairs, and reinstatements, as well as installing and maintaining telecommunications infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair network duct for customer connections
  • Clear blockages and restore the highway to industry standard
  • Operate specialized equipment, including Stihl Saws, Wacker plates, and trench compactors
  • Install draw rope and drop cable to relevant connection points
  • Complete accurate and timely paperwork for daily works
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify hazards to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
  • Good physical health and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a similar operational or engineering environment within the telecommunications industry
  • Industry-recognized street-works qualifications
  • Full UK driver's license
  • Hold the following qualifications: NRSWA unit 1 - 9, PIA (S7), SA002a
