Business Skills Trainer

Job Summary:

Pearson is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Skills Trainer to join our team. As a Business Skills Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality business skills training programs that enhance and develop learners' knowledge, skills, and behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Design and deliver engaging and inspiring training programs that meet the needs of our learners.
  2. Teach and Coach Learners: Teach and coach learners in business, management, and leadership skills, both in classroom and virtual environments.
  3. Create Training Resources: Create resources such as PowerPoint presentations, workbooks, and handouts to support training programs.
  4. Utilize Technology: Utilize technology to enhance learner experience and deliver training programs effectively.
  5. Evaluate and Improve: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements.
  6. Provide Feedback: Provide constructive and relevant feedback to learners on their learning journey.
  7. Coaching and Mentoring: Coach and mentor learners to develop positive attitudes towards learning.
  8. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate learner records, including those in MIS systems and online learning systems.
  9. Continuing Professional Development: Identify and record appropriate annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: Hold relevant teaching/training qualifications.
  2. Experience: Proven experience of delivering inspirational, informative, and engaging training content.
  3. Skills: Excellent communication and IT skills, outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills, and ability to work under own supervision and on own initiative.
  4. Industry Competence: Industry competence and experience in a substantive management role.
  5. Delivery Experience: Delivery experience within the Apprenticeship sector and CMI Qualifications.
