Position: Azure Migration Engineer

Location: Shropshire & Greater Midlands

As a key contributor to a dynamic and expanding organization, you will be instrumental in executing a sophisticated Enterprise M365 migration project. This role encompasses a comprehensive EUC refresh, Entra to Entra migration, and user migration initiatives.

Your responsibilities will span an extensive user base of over 3000 individuals across various UK and international locations. You will engage with multiple sites throughout the UK, including East Midlands, West Midlands, Yorkshire, and London, with occasional remote work opportunities. This position will require travel to several UK sites and a few international locations for migration and troubleshooting tasks, all expenses covered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in infrastructure project management across diverse locations
  • Expertise in Modern Workplace solutions
  • Proficient in Intune setup, configuration, and application packaging
  • Valid UK Driving License
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Exchange Server, Active Directory, Virtual Servers, VMWare, SharePoint, and M365
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills for networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and VLANs (Fortigate knowledge is a plus)
  • Advanced Azure knowledge including assessment and planning, Azure readiness assessment, Azure AD Connect deployment, user synchronization, tenant configuration, custom domains, testing, pilot user groups, and full migration processes
  • Familiarity with VOIP and Teams Calling technologies
  • Hands-on experience with IT hardware and software installations
  • Experience with mobile technologies (Android/iOS)
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Capacity to work autonomously with a flexible and proactive approach
