The role will involve working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes and improve the quality of care.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, a strong commitment to patient safety, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Providing high-quality patient care and leading a multidisciplinary team
- Contributing to the development of critical care services and improving patient outcomes
- Working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care
- Leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve patient care
- Full GMC registration with license to practice
- Inclusion on the Specialist Register for Intensive Care Medicine
- FICM approved training in Intensive Care Medicine to Consultant level
- FFICM or DICM or EDIC
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills
- Experience of working well within a team and leading a team
- Ability to critically appraise published evidence
- Experience of teaching Foundation Year and Specialty Trainees
