Job Opportunity: Lab Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Lab Technician to join our team at a leading manufacturing and production business in Sandy. As a Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our factory's function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and test refrigerated display cabinets, including remote and integral units, HFC and CO2 systems.
  • Work unsupervised on cabinet development, including installation and removal of cabinets from labs, removal of parts and replacement with alternatives, fitting and setting of expansion valves, solenoid valves, probes, etc.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of secondary refrigeration systems, including glycol, pumped CO2, and water loop systems.
  • Experience with packaged refrigeration plant (packs) is advantageous, particularly with HFC, A2L, and CO2 systems.
Requirements:
  • MS Office literacy.
  • Experience of brazing refrigeration pipework up to 80 bar ps.
  • Knowledge, understanding, or experience in most of the following standards, procedures, and disciplines: brazing, refrigeration, and quality assurance.
