Our client, a reputable firm of chartered accountants, is looking for a Senior Accounts Manager to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a progressive accountancy practice and elevate your career.

Position Overview:

  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, including SMEs, sole traders, and limited companies.
  • Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Compile consolidated statutory accounts.
  • Generate management accounts.
  • Conduct cash flow forecasting.
  • Prepare documentation for client meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with corporation tax and provide ad hoc tax planning advice.

Position Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified.
  • Essential prior experience in an accountancy practice.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in accountancy and hold ACA/ACCA qualifications or be part-qualified.

Remuneration:

  • Competitive salary up to £35,000 (dependent on experience).
  • 21 days of annual leave plus a 4-day Christmas shutdown and bank holidays.
