Clinical Lead Physiotherapist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Clinical Lead. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, leading a team of Physiotherapists and contributing to the development of our Acute Assessment and Frailty Therapy service.

About the Role

As a Clinical Lead Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive specialist physiotherapy input, including assessment and treatment programmes for patients with complex needs. You will work closely with the Professional Lead Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist, as well as the Therapy Service Lead, to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and management support to the Physiotherapy team
  • Develop and implement physiotherapy services to meet the needs of patients with complex conditions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective multidisciplinary team working
  • Contribute to the development of the Acute Assessment and Frailty Therapy service
  • Supervise and mentor junior Physiotherapists
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
  • Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Experience in the NHS as a Physiotherapist, with a focus on respiratory inpatients
  • Leadership and management experience, with a track record of success
  • Good understanding of multidisciplinary team dynamics
  • Experience of evidence-based practice and supervision of qualified and assistant staff
