This role serves as a vital connection with the trading team, ensuring that the organization's trading methodologies are carried out effectively and within the parameters of risk tolerance and regulatory standards.


Execution Strategy:
Formulate and execute strategies for the implementation of forex trades, optimizing for cost efficiency, speed, and risk exposure. This encompasses the selection of suitable execution venues, whether through direct market access, ECNs (Electronic Communication Networks), or via liquidity providers.

Risk Management:
Diligently observe trading activities for potential risks, including market, credit, liquidity, and operational risks. Enforce risk mitigation strategies to reduce potential losses and safeguard the organization's capital and client assets.
Supervise the technology and systems utilized for trade execution, ensuring the reliability and security of trading platforms. Collaborate with the IT department to confirm that the technological infrastructure supports effective risk management.

Liquidity Management:

Cultivate relationships with liquidity providers, banks, and other financial institutions to guarantee that the organization has access to adequate liquidity for its trading operations.

Negotiate terms and assess the performance and reliability of these partnerships.

Performance Analysis:
Consistently evaluate trade execution performance, pinpointing areas for enhancement. This includes monitoring slippage, execution speed, and the influence of trading costs on overall profitability.

Team Leadership:

Direct and manage a team of professionals responsible for trade execution, offering guidance, training, and support to ensure that team members are effectively contributing to the organization's trading and risk management goals.


Stakeholder Communication:

Effectively communicate with other departments, including the broader risk management team, trading desk, compliance, and senior management, to provide insights into execution risks and strategies.

Extensive experience in forex trading or trade execution, with a profound understanding of the forex market and trading methodologies.

Strong knowledge of risk management principles and practices, particularly as they pertain to forex trading.
Familiarity with financial regulations impacting forex trading, both globally and in specific jurisdictions.
Capability to analyze trading data and performance metrics to make informed decisions.

Comprehension of the technology employed in trade execution platforms and the ability to collaborate with IT professionals to enhance trading infrastructure.
