Acoustic Consultant Job Overview

NOVA Acoustics Ltd, a leading acoustic consultancy organization, is seeking a skilled Acoustic Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our acoustic consultancy team, you will be responsible for providing expert acoustic services in London and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct acoustic testing and design, environmental noise/vibration, and occupational noise assessments.
  • Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Utilize recognized noise modeling packages, such as SoundPlan and Odeon, to analyze and mitigate noise-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience in acoustics-related fields.
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in an acoustics-related subject.
  • Associate Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (AMIOA), preferably corporate membership (MIOA).
  • Excellent technical report writing and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and administrative abilities, with a focus on prioritizing tasks effectively.
