Children's Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Speech and Language Therapist to join our Children's Speech and Language Therapy team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Work directly with children with a range of Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and their families, providing universal and targeted intervention approaches.
- Collaborate with paediatric health and education staff to provide detailed assessments and coaching/training for the wider workforce and/or parents.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support children's communication development.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Speech and Language Therapy services across the Trust.
- Hold a Degree/Masters level qualification or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Be a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Have experience of working with children with SLCN and their families, with a strong understanding of universal, targeted, and specialist approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to continuous professional development.
