We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Probe UK, a leading manufacturer of roll form products in the West Midlands. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned maintenance activities to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain site equipment, including machinery, tools, and other assets, to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Liaise with other departments, such as production and quality control, to resolve maintenance-related issues.
  • Attend to breakdowns, fault-find, and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Implement machine improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Update maintenance logs to track equipment history and performance.
  • Order critical spares to ensure timely replacement of worn-out parts.
Requirements:
  • Relevant engineering qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Practical experience in mechanical duties, including welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Awareness of health and safety legislations and regulations.
  • Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
