Job Summary
Brandon James Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Principal Designer to join their team in a consultancy environment. As a Principal Designer, you will be responsible for advising clients on all aspects of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that all projects meet regulatory requirements from inception to completion.
- Manage design risk assessments, prepare pre-construction information (PCI), and oversee the review of construction phase plans (CPP).
- Work on diverse projects throughout the region, offering a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to enhance your career within a supportive environment.
- Lead high-profile projects, developing your skills while making a real impact on the construction landscape.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Principal Designer within a consultancy environment.
- Strong understanding of CDM 2015 regulations.
- Background in design, architecture, or construction.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential).
- APS or IOSH membership is desirable.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
