Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Support Representative to join our UK North team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth of sales through our Material Handling and Low Level Access Channels to Market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Business Development Initiatives by conducting site surveys, demonstrations, and training sessions with dealers and partners.
  • Work with National Accounts Sales Team to deliver events, demos, and training sessions, as well as make depot visits and cold-call visits to assist with call plans for large nationals.
  • Identify opportunities to promote training, workshop works, service contracts, and parts to customers.
  • Collaborate with JLG BDMs and product management/marketing to develop sales tools, value propositions, and competitor comparisons for key MH and LLA Channel Products.
  • Provide input to the BDM for a weekly 'Channel Activity' report and assist with updating/closing opportunity pipeline in the CRM.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with low level access equipment, heavy machinery/industry, material handling equipment, and experience conducting site surveys.
  • Technical Sales Support background/experience preferred.
  • Understanding of sectors such as Fit out, Warehousing, general MH, and Food and Drinks Production.
  • Experience demonstrating equipment to customers and loading/off-loading and towing a trailer (training will be offered to the right candidate).
  • Desire to be customer-facing and deliver/exceed on customer expectations.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office packages and (some) understanding/experience of using a CRM.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of any other European languages is a plus.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 75%.
