Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Experis UK.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the design, development, and analysis of Environmental Control System (ECS) turbomachinery and heat exchangers, as well as electric traction drive motors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing thermal and stress analysis on turbomachinery, gas turbine engines, motors, and other similar components and systems.
  • Working knowledge of ANSYS or similar finite element software and classical hand calculation methods.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative solutions.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in thermal and stress analysis of turbomachinery and heat exchangers.
  • Strong understanding of finite element software and classical hand calculation methods.
