About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Culinary Apprentice to join our team at Greene King. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring that every dish meets our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specifications and customer expectations.
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene and safety in the kitchen, ensuring the well-being of your team and customers.
  • Communicate effectively with your team to provide high-quality meals to customers on time.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products, menus, and promotions.

Apprenticeship Details

  • A 15-month apprenticeship program, including face-to-face and remote training sessions.
  • Reviews every 12 weeks with your Line Manager and Apprenticeship Trainer.
  • The chance to gain Functional Skills in English and maths (if you don't already have GCSEs).
  • A Chef Apprenticeship Qualification upon completion of the program.
  • Attendance at four masterclasses to develop your culinary skills.
