Key Responsibilities
- Administer medication and treatments to patients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Take blood samples and perform other medical procedures as required.
- Provide training and education to patients on specific medical topics, promoting health and wellness.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest medical practices and technologies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and medical procedures.
- Report any adverse events or medical issues to management and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proven experience in taking blood samples and administering medication.
- Active Nursing Registration and all necessary training and certifications.
- Pediatric experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and management.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and travel within the Dublin region as required.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Proficiency in computer software and systems, including electronic health records.
