We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in a local school. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with additional needs, providing academic and social support, and assisting the teacher with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the child with additional needs in a 1:1 setting, focusing on academic and social development.
- Assist the teacher with paperwork, tracking the child's progress, and maintaining accurate records.
- Liaise with the class teacher and parents to ensure effective communication and support.
- Deliver 1:1 interventions, primarily in maths and English, to support the child's academic growth.
- Experience working with children with SEN or similar experience.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to the child's needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good safeguarding knowledge and practices.
- Competitive hourly rate (£14 per hour, depending on experience).
