Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct engaging and impactful tutoring sessions in GCSE English and Maths.
  • Create customized lesson plans tailored to the unique needs of each student.
  • Evaluate student progress and offer constructive feedback.
  • Assist students in exam preparation and enhance their study techniques.
  • Maintain precise records of student attendance and academic performance.
Essential Qualifications:

A recognized teaching qualification is required.

Educational Background:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English, Maths, Education, or a related discipline.

Experience Required:

Demonstrated experience in tutoring students at the GCSE level in English and Maths.

Skills and Knowledge:
  • In-depth knowledge of the GCSE English and Maths curriculum.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to modify teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications in education or specific subject areas are advantageous.

Work Environment:
  • Conduct sessions in the student's home.

All quoted pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the potential for permanent placement in the future.
