We are currently in search of two qualified Electrical Site Supervisors - AP to oversee projects in the wastewater and water treatment field. The ideal candidates will possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in managing electrical installations.

Position: Electrical Site Supervisor - AP

Location: Rochester

Contract Type: Freelance

Compensation: £350 per day, Outside of IR-35

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee electrical installation processes
  • Ensure compliance with SHE standards
  • Maintain high-quality output
  • Safely isolate LV electrical systems
  • Review and supervise supplier inspection and testing plans
  • Conduct site inductions and toolbox discussions
  • Assist with commissioning activities
  • Participate in collaborative planning meetings
  • As the Electrical Appointed Person, enforce electrical safety regulations and produce necessary documentation
  • Perform electrical safety inspections on both temporary and permanent installations
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings with supply chain supervisors
  • Supervise electrical testing procedures
  • Issue access limitation permits

Required Qualifications:

  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification - Essential
  • Appointed Person Status - Essential
  • FAAW certification - Essential
  • ECS card - Essential
  • C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations - Essential
  • NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations - Essential
  • IEE 18th edition wiring regulations - Essential
  • 2391 Test and Inspect certification - Preferred
