About the Role

Fugro NL Services B.V. is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in a dynamic and challenging role. As a key member of our Nearshore Department, you will be responsible for carrying out crane operations within the safe working parameters of the crane and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crane Operations: Carry out required crane operations, ensuring compliance with procedures, method statements, and standards.
  • Health and Safety: Prioritize Health and Safety at all times, leading by example and contributing to improvements.
  • Marine Duties: Assist with marine duties, maintenance, and repair works on Excalibur, the largest live on-board jack-up barge.
  • Team Support: Support the Site/Project team in maintaining a professional level of productivity and ensuring client expectations are consistently met.
  • Drilling Operations: Support drilling operations as and when necessary.
  • Crew Transfers: Participate in crew transfers, including mobilization and demobilization, lifting equipment on and off deck.
  • Crane Maintenance: Take responsibility for crane maintenance requirements, including reporting, inspections, and defect reporting.
  • General Maintenance: Support deck crew during downtime with general maintenance and barge duties.
  • Towing Duties: Undertake towing duties (training will be provided).
Requirements
  • Education: High School / GCSE English & Maths
  • Experience: Crane & Lifting Operations and Marine Operations is preferred. Any Mechanical, Welding, Boat Handling experience is desirable.
  • License/Certification/Qualification: CPCS Crawler Crane (over 10T/All) / Sparrows 3
