Job Title: Locum Biomedical Scientist

Job Summary:

Hunter AHP Resourcing is seeking an experienced Biomedical Scientist with a background in Haematology to join a busy NHS hospital in the UK. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of experience working in a Haematology laboratory and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of laboratory tests and procedures related to Haematology
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities
  • Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure smooth laboratory operations
  • Participate in continuing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies

Requirements:

  • Current HCPC registration
  • IBMS accredited degree in Biomedical Science or a related field
  • At least 6 months of experience working in a Haematology laboratory
