Position Overview

The role of the IT Supplier Manager or Supply Relationship Manager is a fully remote opportunity with Sanderson Recruitment Plc, a prominent player in the financial services sector. We are in search of a skilled professional with a proven track record in establishing and maintaining IT supply chains. This pivotal position entails the oversight and administration of all facets concerning our external IT vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guaranteeing effective and efficient oversight of suppliers in alignment with established contractual obligations.
  • Consolidating and optimizing the supplier ecosystem into a centralized operational model.
  • Development, execution, and upkeep of a comprehensive Supplier Management Framework, which encompasses a clearly defined third-party supplier IT service catalog, a contract management repository, and designated roles and responsibilities with assigned accountability for each supplier within a tiered structure.
  • Identification and evaluation of all legacy IT supplier obligations acquired through business mergers.
  • Management of the supplier lifecycle from initiation to conclusion.
  • Assessment and comprehension of all outsourced IT services along with their underlying financials, coupled with cost management initiatives.
  • General oversight, monitoring, and review processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in a comparable Supplier or Contract Management position, ideally within an IT environment.
  • Familiarity with third-party supplier management frameworks.
  • Understanding of contract structures, key provisions, and terms.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial processes.
  • Experience working within a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Procurement experience, including participation in RFI/RFP processes.
  • Knowledge of ITIL principles.
