About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Associate to join our growing Edinburgh team at OXBO, a leading international developer, owner, and operator of onshore and offshore wind, solar, and BESS projects.

As a Land Associate, you will play a critical role in the greenfield development of renewable energy projects, identifying and securing land for renewable energy farms in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate greenfield development opportunities for renewable energy projects
  • Build and maintain relationships with landowners, agents, and consultants to secure land for project development
  • Lead negotiations for Heads of Terms, Option Agreements, easements, and other land-related documents
  • Coordinate and conduct site visits to assess land suitability and feasibility
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including land ownership and tenancy records
  • Review and analyze land ownership and tenancy documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Record, track, and manage project data using our GIS system
  • Collaborate with our legal team to complete due diligence on property transactions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for landowners throughout the project lifecycle
About You
  • At least 18 months of experience in a land acquisition role in the renewable energy sector
  • Full UK driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and negotiate effectively
  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects at various stages of development
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
