Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect and Data Engineer to join our team at Stack Digital. As a key member of our data team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data architectures that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data architectures that meet the needs of our business, including data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines that ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data solutions that meet those needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data architecture and engineering.
  • Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
  • Work with stakeholders to define and implement data governance policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain data analytics tools and techniques to support business decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Architect and Data Engineer, delivering operational and analytics solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in data modeling for SQL and No-SQL platforms, including relational, dimensional, Data Vault, and document data modeling.
  • Experience with modern data architecture, including cloud-based data platforms (GCP, AWS, BigQuery, Snowflake, CloudSQL) and stream processing (Kafka).
  • Experience with enterprise cloud data management and integration tools such as Informatica.
  • Strong ability to structure, analyze, and interpret data.
  • High level of IT literacy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a team within roles such as Enterprise Data Architect, application development, or database development.
  • Proficient in data modeling, applying best practices.
  • Experience and knowledge of using cloud technologies like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
