Orka Financial is partnering with a growing tech business to hire a Senior Financial Accountant. This role is ideal for a progressive ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant or finalist looking to join the UK arm of a global operation. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will manage a team of 3 reports and work closely with the Financial Controller. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities- Run month-end processes, automating and improving where possible
- Balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany matching process with Group
- Fixed asset and IFRS 16 maintenance, including annual asset review
- ONS returns and submission, cash flow forecasting, and cash pooling management
- Assist with annual audit and statutory accounts process
- Reporting and business partnering of indirect cost centres, forecast, and budget preparation
- Monitor and track lease agreements, support property strategy, and import/export compliance strategy
- Identify opportunities for cost saving, synergies, and EBIT improvement
- Monthly business review presentation collation and distribution
- Corporation tax preparation and review, optimize processes through SAP
- VAT returns for UK and Ireland, multiple currency transactions, and process flow documentation across finance
This role offers a salary of £55,000-£60,000 plus benefits, with a hybrid working arrangement (2 days office-based, 3 days home).
