Role Overview:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of social housing initiatives. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that projects are executed within budget while adhering to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and oversee comprehensive cost estimates, budgets, and financial documentation for social housing ventures.
2. Monitor project expenditures to guarantee that all developments remain financially viable.
3. Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure precise financial planning and cost management.
4. Conduct regular site assessments to evaluate progress, confirm costs, and address any contract variations.
5. Engage in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain favorable pricing and contract terms.
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the social housing or residential construction field.
