Job Title: Senior Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our client, a leading manufacturing company based in the Gloucestershire area. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing machinery.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct electrical and mechanical maintenance duties to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Provide maintenance and repair services for a range of manufacturing machinery, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance tasks, including routine inspections and repairs.
• Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Maintenance Engineer or Electrical Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with production staff and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
