About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join our team. As a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of grounds maintenance staff in the upkeep and maintenance of our clients' outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of grounds maintenance staff in the upkeep and maintenance of outdoor spaces
- Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Manage and maintain equipment and vehicles
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans
- Monitor and control costs
- Provide training and guidance to team members
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a related field
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
