About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Intervention Team as a Young Adult Intervention Coach. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and implementing tailored intervention coaching plans for at-risk young people in Tower Hamlets, East London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of young people's needs and develop personalized intervention plans to support their transition to positive lifestyles.
  • Deliver targeted street work, harm reduction, and life skills coaching to young people, focusing on reducing harm and promoting resilience.
  • Collaborate with frontline colleagues and partner agencies to provide comprehensive support to young people in crisis situations, including knife and gun crime.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of client progress, ensuring effective case management and evaluation of intervention outcomes.
Requirements
  • Robust frontline experience working with young people, including experience in engaging, assessing, and delivering interventions to support personal resilience and harm reduction.
  • Sound risk assessment skills and safeguarding knowledge, with a strong understanding of good practice models.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with young people and work effectively with colleagues and partner agencies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple cases simultaneously.
