About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Anderselite LTD. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of our civil engineering and groundworks projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercially responsible for fast-paced and complex groundworks and civil engineering projects
  • Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks
  • Undertake costs analysis and provide advice on contractual claims
  • Assist in establishing client requirements and undertake feasibility studies
  • Perform risk and value management and cost control
  • Advise on procurement strategy and help junior commercial staff where necessary
  • Prepare and analyze costing for tenders and allocate work to subcontractors
  • Commercially responsible for running several civil engineering projects simultaneously
Requirements
  • Experience in a Senior QS role previously
  • Groundworks and civil engineering project experience
  • Groundworks subcontractor working experience
  • QS degree (or equivalent) in civil engineering or commercial management
  • Experience running large-scale technical groundworks projects, including groundworks, concrete, roads, and drainage
  • Civil engineering background
  • An excellent team player, demonstrating the ability to liaise with all levels of staff, contracts, clients, and contacts
  • NEC contract experience
