Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in leading estimates for civil engineering works and collaborating with our tender teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of estimators for larger tenders, monitoring and developing junior estimators
  • Identify opportunities and risks during the tender process
  • Present the basis of estimate and key assumptions
  • Prepare handovers to site teams at contract award
  • Develop a tender win strategy alongside our business unit teams
  • Liaise with the business unit, Bid Manager, and Planner to agree methodology and principles
Requirements:
  • Experience in water and civils sectors
  • Proven track record working on tenders ranging up to £50 million
  • Chartered, incorporated status or similar
  • Ability to ensure all tender submissions are both feasible and profitable
  • Confidence in dealing with customers and personnel at a senior level
