Data Governance Manager - Reinsurance

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to join our team at Highbury Consulting. As a Data Governance Manager, you will be responsible for leading all data governance and data management related activities for our client, a leading Bermudian reinsurer.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data governance, data management, and related fields, with a strong understanding of various data management principles. You will also possess a background in and good understanding of the reinsurance sector.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures for regulated environments
  • Leading a small team of 7 in data governance and data management activities
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data governance and data management best practices are followed
  • Providing guidance and support to ensure data quality and integrity

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures, with a proven ability to work in a regulated environment. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
