About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ward Manager to lead our Medium Secure Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our ward, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the ward's operational performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes, care quality, and staff engagement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Monitor and analyze performance data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a management position, preferably in a secure services setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of British Sign Language (BSL) is highly desirable.
