Job Summary:

VIPU Limited is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a project that is currently underway. The successful candidate will be responsible for the imaging, racking, and powering up of 4 new physical servers, as well as building 4 virtual servers on top of these physical servers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a robust server infrastructure to support business operations
  • Collaborate with a Software Asset and License Manager to migrate software licenses from one server to another
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of infrastructure, including Windows Server, migration, and configuration
  • Provide technical expertise to ensure seamless server deployment and virtualization
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Windows Server, including imaging and deployment
  • Experience with virtualization and server configuration
  • Knowledge of software licensing and migration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
