Social Worker and Reviewing Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Child Protection Team as an Independent Reviewing Officer.
About the Role:
As a Qualified Social Worker and Reviewing Officer, you will be responsible for undertaking initial assessments of safeguarding referrals, conducting Section 42 Enquiries, and reviewing care packages. You will also be involved in adult placement and report writing, as well as liaising with other professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake initial assessments of safeguarding referrals
- Conduct Section 42 Enquiries and support the implementation of new safeguarding pathways
- Review care packages and adult placements
- Write reports and maintain accurate records
- Liaise with other professionals and stakeholders

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Degree or equivalent in Social Work, be registered with Social Work England, and have a current DBS. You will also need to be a car driver and have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Children's Social Work team.
