Job Purpose

We are seeking a talented and proactive Part Time Administrator to join our team at the Prax Foundation. The successful candidate will be responsible for running Roots, our charitable initiative, and will work closely with our Foundation Steering Committee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of existing projects, including hostels, collection boxes, food banks, and clothes collections.
  • Fundraising through auctions, events, and other initiatives.
  • Identifying new causes for the Foundation to support.
  • Raising the profile of Roots within the Prax Group and organizing "Roots Day".
  • Work as part of the Foundation Steering Committee.
  • Liaison with multiple stakeholders, including donors, auditors, and other stakeholders.
  • Monthly meetings and presentations to the PFS board.
  • School breakfast scheme.
  • Quarterly workshops in the offices to raise the Roots profile.
  • Regular engagement with Food banks.
  • Donations to appeals.
  • Responsible for banking and payments on Roots bank accounts.
  • Responsible for the budget for Roots.
Requirements
  • Outstanding organizational, administration, and social media skills.
  • Excellent communicator able to engage diverse audiences.
  • Prior experience of organizing events, public relations.
  • Experience of planning and budgets.
Working Arrangements

The role is based in our offices in Weybridge and offered on a part-time basis, Monday to Friday pm.
