Key Responsibilities:

Service Development:

Formulate essential services for contractor mobilization to the site and throughout the project scope, encompassing temporary power, lighting, HVAC/LEV, access, lifting, and logistical support.


Service Analysis:
Evaluate allowable and disallowable services in accordance with Tier 1 contract specifications.

Scope and Cost Management:
Spearhead the scope management and cost estimation activities.

Risk Management:

Communicate an appropriate level of program risk in the planning (cost model - including clearly defined scope inclusions and exclusions) and execution timelines.


Temporary Works and Compliance:
Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of Temporary Works and Permit to Work protocols in construction.

Work Package Distribution:
Allocate work packages to the Site Wide Team.

Project Oversight:
Supervise project advancement and implement necessary adjustments to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.

Governance Adherence:
Comply with Project Governance, Client standards, and broader operational procedures.

Team Management:
Prioritize tasks within the team effectively.

Reporting Structure:
Provide direct reports to the Site Construction Services Project Delivery Manager.

Essential Deliverables:

Scope Identification:
Play a crucial role in recognizing Tier 1 Contractor requirements and conducting scope management exercises.
Proposal Evaluation:

Assist in the evaluation of construction proposals for Temporary Electrical, Lifting, Temporary Works, HVAC, and Logistics, considering design, cost, site-wide resource levels, ongoing commitments, supplier lead times, and required delivery dates.


Design and Installation Management:
Oversee the design and implementation of enabling services.

Schedule Management:
Develop and adhere to the construction schedule, providing insights on forecasted, planned, and actual progress.

Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Background:
Degree in a technical or construction-related field, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
Experience in a construction/project engineering environment.
Proven ability to rapidly grasp and comprehend complex subjects.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Capability to obtain Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher).
CCNSG Safety Passport or HSE MAPS.
IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH (preferred).
SSSTS/SMSTS (preferred).

Experience:
Preferred experience in construction or nuclear projects.
Preferred background in major construction initiatives.
Familiarity with NEC/JCT/FIDIC contract frameworks is beneficial.
