Senior Construction Engineer

Are you looking to be part of a reputable Construction Main Contractor in the Southwest on a contract basis?

We are seeking a Degree-qualified Senior Construction Engineer to oversee prestigious high-end projects across the region.

Our organization partners with leading construction firms on a variety of projects, including residential developments, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, renovations, and luxury housing.

Due to our established reputation for successfully executing intricate projects, we have an immediate requirement for a Construction Engineer to contribute to a live project.

The primary objective of this role is to provide engineering expertise to propel the construction project forward.

Specifically, the project entails transforming an old educational facility into luxury living spaces, necessitating an engineer with exceptional problem-solving skills, particularly in relation to utility and drainage systems.

Experience in Site Engineering is essential, with a strong command of GPS and Robotic Total Station technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting site plans, technical drawings, and building information models.
  • Resolving technical challenges and collaborating with designers and engineers to ensure precision in plans and drawings.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in site engineering within the construction or civil engineering sectors.
  • A Degree or HNC/D level qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction.
  • Capability to produce setting out data using various formats, including AutoCAD.

This contract position offers the opportunity to work on a significant project with the potential for further assignments based on performance.
