About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Assistant to join our close-knit team at Baston House School in Bromley. As a key member of our Administration Team, you will provide comprehensive and confidential administrative support to the school, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective administrative support to staff and managers as required, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records and documents are maintained, stored securely, and confidentially at all times.
  • Respond promptly and flexibly to urgent or last-minute staff/school requirements, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional service.
  • Support other members of the Administration Team with work that requires additional resources, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Contribute to maintaining agreed budgets, exercising vigilance in respect of Health and Safety, and promptly reporting hazards or taking corrective action.
  • Operate in accordance with Company policies and procedures, prioritizing Safeguarding, Adult/Child Protection, Complaints, and Representations, as well as Behaviour Policies.
Requirements
  • GCSE or equivalent qualification.
About the School

Baston House is an independent day specialist provider of education and care for young people and adults aged 5 to 19 years who have been diagnosed with Autism (ASC). Our school environment supports learning and promotes the well-being of pupils and staff through a strong sense of community cohesion.
