Job Overview

EducateGM is currently seeking a skilled Childcare Practitioner to become a vital part of our partner nurseries. This role offers the chance to gain valuable experience in a supportive and nurturing environment, helping children thrive in a vibrant nursery setting. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Childcare Practitioner who possesses a passion for early years education.

This inclusive nursery caters to children aged from 6 months to 5 years. Successful candidates will benefit from the guidance of a seasoned team of professionals. This full-time position is set to commence with the expectation of a full academic year commitment, with potential for a permanent role in the future. The remuneration for this position is competitive and will be based on experience.

Key Requirements:

  • Level 1 EYFS/Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Prior experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Experience in UK nurseries or familiarity with the British curriculum is preferred.
  • Ability to inspire and effectively engage within the nursery setting.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Attributes such as patience, creativity, compassion, and organization.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Capability to collaborate and contribute positively to a team.
  • Innovative in approaches to children's learning.
  • Dependable and adaptable to meet nursery expectations.

Successful Candidates Will:

  • Possess the necessary qualifications and training for this role.
  • Understand that this is a temporary position for the full academic year, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, undergoing thorough background checks as per statutory guidelines.
  • Hold a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS).
  • Provide a comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with explanations for any gaps.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
