The Role: HGV Class 1 Driver

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team on exciting UK-wide projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who enjoy variety and the chance to work across diverse industries.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £52,000 per annum (based on a 50-55 hour working week with occasional weekend shifts)
  • Hourly Rates: £12.85 basic rate (rising to £13.35 after 18 months and £13.85 after 36 months), £13.85 night rate (hours between 6pm and 6am)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle across the UK.
  • Adhere to all relevant road traffic regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of driving hours and deliveries.
  • Ensure the secure loading and unloading of cargo.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (Class 1)
  • Current CPC Qualification
  • Driver Qualification Card
  • Experience driving in and around London (Desirable)
  • Previous flat-bed experience and load security (Desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills and a good understanding of the English language.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
