Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in carbon management, sustainability initiatives, and net zero strategies for our portfolio of major infrastructure projects and strategic partners.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative sustainability strategies, designs, solutions, and management frameworks.
  • Oversee and coordinate sustainability contributions on significant infrastructure projects. Represent the company at external forums and enhance personal, team, and company reputation.
  • Support proposal submissions, ensuring alignment with our strategic themes.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in an environmental or engineering discipline, with registration in a relevant professional body.
  • Demonstrated experience and current knowledge in areas such as carbon accounting, decarbonization strategies, sustainability assessments, and renewable energy feasibility.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with diverse stakeholders, including technical experts.
  • Excellent report writing, communication, and presentation skills, adaptable to various audiences and technical levels.
  • Familiarity with UK sustainability and carbon standards relevant to infrastructure, such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and PAS2080.
