We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food packing lines, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities- Operate food packing lines efficiently and effectively, working closely with a small line team to achieve production targets.
- Conduct regular quality checks, escalating any non-conformances to ensure the highest standards of product quality.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and hygienic work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
- Drive plant key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, quality, service, hygiene, and safety.
- Take ownership of your zone and the plant, ensuring good housekeeping, hygiene, and adherence to 5S/lean standards.
- Utilize OEE data to improve cost, quality, efficiency, and reduce waste.
- Monitor machine performance using Lineview data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing root cause analysis.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
- Basic training will be provided, but good numeric and computer skills are an advantage.
- Ability to work well within a team environment, with strong communication skills.
- Ability to operate machinery and perform minor adjustments as required.
- Results-focused, with a strong commitment to meeting targets.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a continuous improvement approach.
- Promotes safe working practices.
