Clockwork Organisation Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Yard Operative to join our team in Wrexham. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing vehicle arrivals and departures, maximizing space utilization, and ensuring seamless communication with external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Coordination: Manage vehicle arrivals and departures to prevent bottlenecks, improve traffic flow, and optimize time management.
  • Inventory Management: Maximize space utilization by efficiently storing finished goods, using stock rotation and management practices to ensure proper handling of older inventory.
  • Communication: Communicate with incoming drivers, provide clear instructions for the entire process, and ensure adherence to site Health and Safety protocols.
  • Technology Utilization: Utilize bespoke computer systems to monitor stock levels, track locations, and manage sales orders with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Customer Service: Collaborate with the customer representative to maintain seamless communication with external customers and quickly address any disruptions in the process.
  • Operational Support: Drive FLT and Combilift as required.

Requirements:

  • IT Literacy: Proficient in using SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to Detail: Good attention to detail and works to a high standard.
  • H&S Orientation: H&S orientated.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
  • FLT License: FLT Counterbalance license would be advantageous but full training will be provided.
