Position: Band 6 Paediatric Physiotherapist

Location: NHS Grampian

Hours: 22.3 hours/week (0.6wte)

Contract Type: Fixed Term (11 months)

NHS Grampian is seeking a dedicated Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our Combined Child Health (CCH) team, providing essential maternity leave coverage. The successful candidate will work primarily at our children's hospital and may also engage with various child development teams, depending on their qualifications and experience.

Applicants must possess a valid driving license and have prior experience in paediatric care. A strong passion for working with children and adolescents is crucial. Responsibilities will include the assessment and treatment of children with diverse developmental challenges, such as neurological, neuromuscular, rheumatological, orthopaedic, post-surgical, complex needs, and respiratory conditions.

Participation in the respiratory on-call rota is expected, which may require occasional overnight and weekend duties. Our experienced team will provide comprehensive support through collaborative teamwork and both formal and informal supervision within a multidisciplinary framework.
