Job Summary
We're seeking an Associate Solutions Engineer to join our Dundee office. As a key member of our team, you'll provide technical product advice to customers and sales staff during pre-sales discussions. Your responsibilities will include performing detailed online technical deep-dive demonstrations, promoting product features, and clearly ascertaining the prospect's needs and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic installation and configuration of network management products, system and application monitoring products, and security-related products.
- Assist sales reps in offering guidance on product identification.
- Provide prospects with basic troubleshooting and other online remote assistance during the product evaluation cycle.
- Perform basic troubleshooting techniques on all N-able products.
- Identify product-specific areas for improvement to enhance the evaluation experience and conduct online technical demonstrations remotely.
- Escalate product issues, customer feedback, and feature/functionality requests.
- Utilize online tools to provide pre-sales technical support during the sales process.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of network or application monitoring solutions.
- Ability to demonstrate problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs.
- A good mix of technical ability and customer interaction skills.
- Ability to keep pace in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Strong client management skills.
- Solid oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; basic presentation skills.
- Ability to absorb and retain technical knowledge quickly.
- Ideal experience as a field/networking technician or system administrator in a customer-facing role; prior experience working for or with an MSP desired.
